Are you feeling pressured to have children?

I think it's mostly a mid-west and southern thing. I remember going to my 5 year high school reunion and everyone was asking if I had kids or not (not in just a small talk kind of way). When I told them no I got sympathetic looks and "ahh well hopefully you'll have them before our 10 year reunion." It's like they thought I was a failure for not have 3-4 by then (nothing wrong with having kids that early, it just wasn't for me). Meanwhile I'm thinking I haven't been trying and had other things I wanted to do first. But now that I've gotten married all our close friends and family are awaiting baby news.

No lol I had my one child at 20 and no one was pleased with me for it. My family has pretty much scolded me each time I've become pregnant.

I don't even know what to vote. I feel pressured but not by anyone... in my family on both sides we have fertility issues and all of the women in my family on both sides have had to get a hysterectomy around 30-35. I'm going to be coming up on 25 and have yet to have one child... I have gotten the 💩 end of the stick and have all the infertility issues and health issues that both sides of my family have ever had all in one little ball of... me. Yay me... my dr already made it clear I will need a hysterectomy probably closer to the 30 age mark 😱 we had been trying almost 2 years before we fell pregnant, lost our child and now are back at square one. Some days I feel like I'm not ever going to have my own children or child. Time is my pressure.

At 31 I feel like my child bearing time is running out and I may miss out if I keep putting it off. Ideally I would love to have more time to travel and finish college but at the end of the day I want a child. I do feel pressure from myself.

I'm 23 and everyone keeps asking when I'm having a kid. My mom brings it up once or twice a month. It's annoying. I keep telling everyone one that they will have to wait another 5yrs until I have one and I'm not changing my mind. And good thing my SO is in the same page as me. Lol

I'm almost 30, so the baby factory is closed for me. I was definitely pressured at 25 though.

I cannot have children after 30 and I now I may not be ovulating! I'm only 23 but I want a big family and I've only got seven years to do it.

My mother is depressed. She believes that it is my job to not only provide her with a grandchild, but that I must do it before my father dies.
