How do you react when your husband tells you he's changed his mind about kids and is going to get a vasectomy?

If he went through with it, I'd divorce him. My fiancé and I made sure to talk about and decide on those kinds of things before we decided to get married. If he changed his mind and there was no changing it back, he knows that I would leave him. I want children. I love him, but I know what I want, and I am not giving that up.

I would be jumping out of pure joy cause then I wouldn't have to get sterilized myself.

I would talk to him first and try to convince him not to do it. Having kids is something my husband and I would have spoken about before getting married. If he changed his mind without considering my feelings, we would have a very serious issue and in my eyes, grounds for divorce. He is not the only one whose happiness matters in the marriage.

Not going to vote but it be a discussion we definitely would have to have before any decision. I would not divorce him but I would ask him to consider adoption or even another alternative like birth control pill or some other typa birth control but hubby and I both want kids he has two from a previous marriage but we want a child we can raise together.
