Baby shower

My friend that planned my baby shower planned it super late. I will be 37 weeks at my baby shower. I am so nervouse my baby will be here too early and i won't have everything for gim yet. Did any of you have a baby shower super late? My fiance let his uncle move in a month ago and he took over the baby's room.. so all of our baby stuff is collecting in the living room and our bedroom! He won't move out and all i want to do is set up the nursery. I feel so unprepared and angry at the fact his 50 year old deadbeat uncle is living with us. He doesn't pay for anything and has made our bills go up tremendously. He just sleeps, eats, drinks beer, eats our food, and plays video games. I cant help feeling pissed off. I am 34 weeks along and i want to be prepared for my child.
