Abnormal Period

Does anyone have an extremely abnormal period? I went off BC last August and didn't get a period for 10 months. My obgyn gave me provera to jumpstart it, I then had my period normally for 2 months. I was supposed to get my period 7 days ago. I thought I might have gotten it yesterday but it ended up just being light spotting. I took 2 pregnancy tests, 1 on the 1st day of my missed period and another on the 5th. Both showed negative results. Any thoughts? I appreciate any feedback!!
