Any work from home jobs?

Does anyone have experience with a real work from home job/companies? I am looking for something to supplement my income and I live in the NJ/NYC area. Everything that I have come across online seems to be a scam:(

Sykes home/alpine access they pay 10.50 and up an hour. I worked there in 2013 they are always hiring especially now. They give u a computer and you get paid minimum wage in your state for training. They have many different clients. My client was at&t. It was a customer service job where u just answer calls. Help customers understand their bills, upgrade their phones etc. I liked it while I was there but stopped cause I started my own business

I dont know the exact name but there are jobs where you type up court cases (you listen to the audio and write it out word for word) they pay roughly 15-20$ per page :)

I do transcription work for Seven Levels Entertainment. We mostly transcribe short audio files (<10 sec), but the pay is by the amount you do, not hourly. They are legit and the managers are nice, but they pay NET 60 by PayPal and the work is by project, so it's not always consistent. It's good for extra cash here and there if you are a solid typist with good grammar and a "good ear".

Two legitimate sources for real work at home jobs (pre-screened, no scams) are Flexjobs and Virtual Vocations.  You do need a subscription to access their job banks, but it may be worth your peace of mind.
