Hard lumps w/ lovenox injections?

I've been on lovenox for almost three months now. Shots were less painful and bruising got better, but I recently moved the injection sites closer to my love handles due to bigger belly and they're bruised, sore and have hard lumps. Anyone else experience this?

It's nice to see I'm not alone here! I was taking them in the back of my arm but the bruising and lumps are just so much I notice less on my stomach but I do worry about when my belly gets Bigger 🤷‍♀️

Yep, had lumps on the same areas too. After I took the shots & noticed lumps, I would massage them down everyday. Sometimes with every shots, I wouldn’t get lumps.

It happens to me too from time to time. Some tips:
1. I release the liquid very slowly
2.i rub the area when I am done
3. When I get those hard lumps I put ice for 20 mins for a couple of nights. It helps with bruising and with the hard areas

My belly looks like a battle field! Lumps and bruises all over. Every body reacts differently to the injections and the lumps and bruises are normal...ugly and painful, but normal.

Thanks, ladies! This may be a silly question, but there's no way to accidentally inject into the baby, right? Took my shot this morning and baby kicked right next to injection site halfway through it.

I should add I had that problem with heparin and brand name Lovenox. I have generic Lovenox now and I've only got one bruise after 2 weeks and no lumps at all.

Yes, freaked me out a bit but they went away.

I'm having the same problem with my heparin injections, I think it's just due to not having as much fat for it to seep into.
