VBAC concerns?

I have learned through a friend that vaginal delivery is possible after having a cesarean. My first pregnancy  went well and the reason for my emergency c-section was that my son was not coming out and his head was starting to swell. (Hubby has a huge head lol) how did you decide to do a VBAC? Did you have to research for a specific dr?

I chose to vbac for a lot of reasons:
Faster recovery 
Immediate skin to skin
Easier breastfeeding 
I felt robbed of the experience after my c-section
I wanted to experience labor
I wanted to push my baby out

I had a successful unmedicated hbac in November. It was so wonderful and empowering!!

I had an emergency c section with my first for the very same reason and have had 2 all natural VBACs since (9 pounds 7 ounces and 8 pounds 15 ounces). The risk of rupturing is quite low and in particular the risk of something severe happening is very minimal. Talk to a knowledgable doctor or midwife. Having a supportive doc is extremely important. Having experienced both c section and vaginal births, there is no way I would ever choose a csection over the vaginal! The recovery is do much better with a vaginal birth. Good luck!

I was going to do a VBAC but decided against it after talking with a dr who would let me do it. There is a lot of risk with it. If you end up rupturing you and the baby could die. Also if you labor and then end up needing another c section it's worse than if you would have just opted for the c section right away. If you talk with a dr they'll probably tell you that since you had trouble with baby number one you may have trouble with this one also.

Ive been asking about vbac after my csection due too fetal distress dad didnt gt to cut cord or bath the bby or take pictures because he left hes phone in pokets while changing for csection room smh
