Has anyone ever changed their mind LAST MINUTE on getting an abortion? Meaning you were supposed to get one the same day/week but couldn't go through with it? And why?

My cousin did that. She had 2 kids already & was temporarily split from their father. Had one scheduled but couldn't go through with it. She's more than happy that she did not do it!

My friend did only cause she was scared that it would be painful.... Even with medication. She was 16 weeks

I've heard of people getting up and leaving last minute. The clinic doesn't care they support all your choices and any of your decisions :)

My roommate did that. Went through all the appropriate steps, then on the day of the appointment she changed her mind.

I nearly did. I hated the entire process. And then on the day the girl in the next cubicle backed out saying she couldnt do it. I wanted to leave but i talked myself into staying.  I was devastated with myself that i couldnt be that strong. 
With regards to the process- I was talked down to the entire time, told that i should've known better and when i had my internal exam and squirmed uncomfortably tightening my legs together the doctor said 'you opened your legs to get pregnant you can do this now to get rid of the pregnancy.'
I regretted it for a long time, i was such a mess, and i finally made my peace with it a few years ago. I finally knew i made the right decision. 
Now i am ttc and it's not going well. I feel like i am being punished and all of the old feelings have resurfaced.
