Hi all! New to the group. My baby boy was originally due October 6th, but he arrived July 29th 10w early. I think the elation and shock has worn off, and other emotions are creeping in.

My hubby had to go back to work today, and my sisters aren't here yet. Baby arrived too soon, so sisters are trying to reschedule things to come see me and baby (I live out of state from them). Not expecting my own mother as she told me she hates me. Can't even reach out to her. MIL is due in a week flying from FL.

But I'm at home today by myself, hubby at work, baby boy in NICU -- I'm getting anxious and worried and lonely. Mind is everywhere! Mostly on my little boy.... It's like all hitting me at once. Getting overwhelmed.

Any advice from other mommies that have been through this? How to deal in these first several days? How to be brave for premie baby?
