I honestly think a break is just an excuse for one of the people to go mess around on the other and then when they get tired of hoes they can go back to their loyal committed person

I don't believe in "breaks". We are together or we aren't. If we are having problems & need time apart thats okay, but in the mean time we're still "together" & it isn't okay to have sex or do anything else (romantically) w/ someone else until you decide for sure our relationship is over. 
Those would be my terms, but as far as others are concerned, it depends on the terms of the break, which should be laid out up front.

But if someone decides to take a "break" it meant to sit down, relax, and think about the correct relationship and situations and reach a decision" it doesn't mean go and screw with other people, or just go on dates, and return to your GF wen you're done having fun!! That's just immature.
