Would you divorce during pregnancy?

After 6 years of being together and married for 1, I can honestly say that trying isn't an option anymore. I've tried counseling, separation, faking it and I'm at my wits end. This is not a rash decision but trying to do what's right. Would it be easier to wait until after baby to divorce or start process now? Due with first in November

I feel like there are so many missing details. If your being  abused, run. If you have a place to live long term, leave. If you have a home together, share a car, have joint accounts I would start the process now. You don't want to have a newborn and be thinking about this stuff. Just get it over with now. Make a nursery somewhere else and get organized before baby comes. I hope things start improving for you soon. *hugs*

I would wait for 2 reasons: 1. Hormones are totally out of wack right now and you could feel differently later and from experience, when you do bring a child into the world you are completely and utterly in love with the person you created this amazing little baby with. I experienced it and so have all my girlfriends...it does go away though unfortunately. My point is-the ups and downs are so crazy right now that it's not the best time for change. 
Reason #2: 
As stated earlier, you're going to have to go back to court after the baby is born anyway if you get divorced now to establish paternity, custody, and child support so might as well just do it all at once. Is there really a reason to rush it? If so that's a different story. My advice is completely different if you're being abused at all. Because in that case get the hell out and get the divorce FINALIZED before birth bc that gives you the upper hand on custody straight out of the gate.

I was 5months pregnant when we split up. I'm not going to lie it wasn't easy. Looking back it was the best decision for us. My daughter never saw us together. So in a way this  was normal for her. Also she wasn't subject to us fighting.

It don't matter if your pregnant or not you can get a divorce, it sounds like you have made your decision. Do what I'd best for you and mostly what's best for your baby. Good luck hun

My friend was kind of in the same boat as you.  She though was just in the hospital for 2 weeks and finally had the baby yesterday (7/31). While she was in the hospital she found out that she now has an STD. She has her laptop and started looking thru her husband's emails (married since Dec 2014). Found out he has been cheating for over a year now. She was also told that she would now HAVE to have a c-section because the baby has a HIGH possibility of getting eye infections from the STD.  If she would have known b4 the baby was here, she would have been gone. Since she was in the hospital and found out, she had to wait. She has beautiful baby boy and no husband or home to go back to. The plus is, she is an attorney (family law).   If you can, I would get started now and not be so stressed with a newborn and a divorce.  Soory and good luck!!

Depending on what state, they won't let you divorced  when you are pregnant.

Wait until after the baby is born.  That way even if you do a settlement agreement and it's all amicable,  you can include your parenting plan without having to go back to courts for a second process.

If you divorce before baby is born then he won't be deemed the legal father and you'll have to eat a lush paternity through a separate proceeding.  Makes sense to do it only once and get it over with at know shot versus having to go back and forth...

I would do like others suggested, separate now, and divorce after birth. That way it's less court visits. Plus some states require a legal separation first anyway, before you can divorce. But definitely go get a freebie consult with a lawyer to ask these questions before doing anything. They can give you an idea of what you can and should do now, what to hold off on, etc.

He would be deemed father since the pregnancy happened through the marriage. Ask any lawyer. But anyway if you're unhappy and you have tried anything. Then leave. You both don't deserve to continue if one or the other is unhappy. I would wait until after baby since then you would only have to do court once. But it's up to you. You could split ways for now. I hope all works out how it should.
