Hi I'm Bethany. This is my third little girl first I had no problems with this time around started cramping and contracting at 27 weeks put on partial bed rest and pelvic rest..... Went back to dr for second ultrasound in a week to find out my amniotic fluid is low now too!
I'm am currently 28 weeks 4 days

The hardest thing for me is- uncertainty of everything

Hey yall I'm 29+3 ftm with a boy. Been on bed rest 3 weeks now due to pregnancy induced hypertension. I was fine until last night and now I feel like I'm losing my mind.
Apparently I was a control freak and never noticed bc now I feel as though nothing is getting done how it needs to or how I would do it. My poor husband works 12 hour days in the hot Texas sun and comes home to a list for him to do, it's definitely putting a strain on us since I can't do anything. He is such a wonderful man and does everything I ask, I just feel guilty adding to his stresses so I guess that's where the strain comes from. I will not say anything for a few days and try to be patient until my ocd can't take it anymore. Forgive my tangent but someone please tell me I'm not the only one!!

Hello! I'm 26 weeks and had unexplained bleeding on Monday afternoon. I was admitted to the hospital for monitoring and got the 2 shots of steroids. Baby seems happy and healthy, but I have started having random contractions. I'm on bed rest and seeing doc for a re-eval. On the 10th. I've been reading that bed rest isn't a proven method for postponing preterm labor, so I'm thinking I should just go back to work. I guess we will see.

FTM of a little girl. My pregnancy has been very easy. Barely any sickness at all. The problems I did have were bleeding at weeks 12, 14- which were placenta detaching. No more bleeding until I went to my doctors appointment at 33 weeks. As soon as I stepped of the scale, I felt a lot of wetness. I thought my water broke. The nurse brought me in the water and blood came pouring down my leg. My doctor couldn't find any reason why I was bleeding and I wasn't dilated. He admitted me to the hospital to monitor baby. Bleeding stopped and baby was fine. 4 days later I had some bleeding. Once again I was back in hospital. This time over night. Doctor put me on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy. He's also not letting me go pass 39 weeks. I will most likely have a section because baby is breeched. I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow and crossing fingers no more bleeding!

I too started having noticeable contractions at 27 weeks but I had been have a few for about a month before that and didn't know that's what they were. I was shopping with friends the day before 28 weeks and when I went to pee I lost my mucus plug and even though it was strange, I wasn't to alarmed until an hour later when I went to pee again and there was tons of blood! I went straight to my local ER bc it was after hours at my DRs office and they admitted me right away. They hooked me up to a monitor and I was indeed having contractions and they gave me a shot to stop contractions but I was still having them just not as bad. I never started dialating though so they had no idea why I was bleeding or why I had lost my mucus plug. I stayed for 2 days so I could have the 2 steroid shots to help develop his lungs in case he did come early and I had to have one more shot for the contractions. I still haven't had an ultrasound yet to see about my fluid but i will on the 11th. I was also extremely dehydrated when I was admitted to the hospital and my potassium was very low as well so they think that was why I started contracting. I'm on pelvic rest and mild best rest so if I'm up an hour I have to rest an hour. I may or may not be allowed to go back to work in 2 weeks-I'm a teacher so we start back the 17th. The Dr put me on a prescription of procardia to see if that helps to stop the contractions and it has helped a lot but I still have at least 2-4 a day. It's a week by week thing for me :(
