We are 7 1/2 weeks pregnant with twins. There is no membrane between the 2 and the Dr tells us that means identical. She also told us that she is referring us to a specialist because without a membrane there are greater risks involved. She wouldn't tell us anything more, only that we will know more when we meet with the specialist (on August 11). I'm curious to know what these greater risks are and if anyone here has been through the same thing. I could google things all day long but I'm looking for concrete life experience and hopefully some positive feedback from moms and moms to be that have personally been through this. Can someone help guide me through this?
