Thinking of asking her to leave!!

My friend just graduated from Navy Dental C school, and she needed somewhere to go while on leave. Originally she had said she would find a hotel because my condo is pretty small and 1 bedroom.

After looking at hotels, my friend asked if she could stay with us because they're too expensive. I said ok. She will have ended up staying 12 days as opposed to 7 days (which was the initial plan). She has never owned a car, and the whole time she has been here she has asked us to drive her all over to Virginia and many other places and has not once offered to chip in for gas. We have gone a few places EXCLUSIVELY for her.

Last night was just the last straw for me. She bought a $260 Nintendo 3DS after complaining about not being able to afford a hotel or cab fairs. Then last night she threw a fit because we got all the way home and the charger was not in the box. She insisted we drive her back right then. A 20 mile drive. I told her sorrt, but can you just grab a cab tomorrow while I'm at work? I have to wake up early and I want to shower and go to bed. She then asked, "well can't you just take me after work?" Trying to not look annoyed I said, "our car is past an oil change, we've spent double the gas we planned to this week, it's all ready 30+ minute commute one way to work, I work a 9 hr day and I don't feel like spending my entire evening on a trip to get you a charger for something that's not a necessity". She said fine I'll take a cab.

To top all of this off, she showed me her bank accounts on her phone. She has nearly 4 grand in savings and $700 in her checking. BUT SHE CAN'T AFFORD A HOTEL????? My husband wants his tv back. She literally hogs it all day and then gets offended when I want to watch TV when I get home from work. My husband and I want some damn privacy!!

I'm thinking of asking her today if she can please get a hotel for her last few days here. Is this a good idea?

Especially since she KNOWS that I'm aware she CAN afford it. I'm so irritated that she had the nerve to buy a 3DS but never offer to get a hotel or pay for any gas. She also has not showered ONCE since being here -__- She's quite rude and I feel like she's truly taking advantage of us!!!
