Just started having sex... Now UTIs. Advice?

My BF and I recently started having sex (4 months ago). I was a virgin before that. I've been getting recurring UTI after sex. Any advice on how to avoid?

Make sure you are drinking lots of water. I mean, as much water as you can make yourself drink, and then some! Also be sure that you and your partner wash your hands properly before engaging in any kind of sexual activity. Ease into the sex. Rough or frequent sex could irritate your urethra. I've also been told by my doctor to urinate right after sex, to "wash" out my urinary tract. I take cranberry pills to prevent infections. Easier than drinking cranberry juice all the time, and without the obscene amounts of sugar. Talk to your doctor about what causes UTIs and steps you can take to prevent them. Hope this helps!

I am prone to Utis too so after sex I pee and shower, also I carry feminine wipes with me to wipe off afterwords if I don't have a chance to shower. and also drink cranberry juice on daily basis

Yeah just pee right after sex and make sure you're wiping the correct way (front to back)
