I'm still bleeding a month after d&c?

Question

I had my d&c July 1st. I've had mostly brown spotting, and then random days of moderate red bleeding. I've passed about 5 clots ranging from the size of a quarter at the smallest and the largest being more like 4 quarters. I also passed a bit of tissue remain about the same size. Every time I think my bleeding is gone, I have days like this with gushing blood. 
I've been seeing my doctor every week for hcg draws. She said my levels are dropping, albeit very slowly. If they aren't gone completely by this coming week I have to go through another ultrasound to see if there's remaining tissue, and possibly be administered a drug to kill the tissue, or undergo another d&c 😢
Has anyone had bleeding this long or gone through something like this? I feel like I've been having a miscarriage for two months. We found out June 11th baby was gone, had a d&c 3 weeks later when I didn't miscarriage naturally, and here I am... Still bleeding

HI , I don't want to say much here but I will say I know what you are going through .I have been going through the same thing ..I miscarriagedon't since in December and continue stopping after that and last month on the 28 I went to see the DR and got a DC done but from since the 28 to know I'm still stopping.went from brown to read and the flow seems to be increasing sometimes .

Yes! This is my (awful) story as well! I had missed MC at 10 weeks, was given cytotec and 2 weeks later learned I hadn't passed all the tissue. Had to have a D&C and 3 weeks after that still bleeding, on and off, but large clots at times. I went on to bleed for 2.5 months total. I was put on birth control to try to regulate my hormones and avoid another surgery (that didn't work in the first place anyhow). After a month on the pill and a six month horror story I've finally returned to a normal cycle.

I had remaining tissue after my D&C and had to go back in for another and take the pills as well.

Mine was noticed only about 5 days after my first D&C due to a blood clot that caused A LOT of pain. I can't imagine being in the waiting game as long as you have but I understand the pain/confusion/annoyance of going through it again.

Poor honey it took nearly six weeks for my hcg to return to 0. Praying you get well quickly. I bled for ten days nurse said if it exceeds they usually give you antibiotics and your body goes back to normal.
