Incomplete Abortion
Yesterday morning I woke up to my panties and boxer shorts saturated in brown blood. I immediately call my OBGYN and they say to go to the nearest ER (since I'm out of state) and have blood work and U/S done to make sure I'm not miscarrying.
Everyone kept saying it should be fine because it was brown blood not red. I knew something felt off for a couple days.. The constant hip/pelvic pain this early on,the intense hunger every other hour. It was so different from the first pregnancy. After all the test here's what the told me....Ultrasound showed 3 gestational sacs (natural triplets) but only 1 has a visible yolk sac. And the one with a yolk doesn't have a fetal pole. They also seen a small subchorionic hemorrhage and free floating fluid (Low volume). Gave me medicine for the pelvic pain and nausea while my body "finishes the incomplete abortion" Doctor Said it doesn't look good at all but the following nurse told me I have a chance the spontaneous abortion can miscarry 2 of the sacs and the 3rd might stick... But that the Dr didn't want to give me false hope because it can happen but not likely. My bhcg is almost 18,000 and I'm going to my OB Wednesday for all this to be retested to see if my levels go up or down. And for another Ultrasound to be done to see if the yolk detaches ..The worse hope to have is false hope but I hung onto their words. Im so confused on how to feel... One minute I'm crying the next I'm hopeful .. Has this ever happened to anyone and they had one of the sacs stick and your body miscarried the others but went full term with the one that stuck? Sorry for the extremely long post.. Just feel heartbroken and everyone around me Just looks at me with pity and says sorry. Hoping someone Will respond that I can relate to.
