Only should be allowed if you are their friend too. It just stick to being friends with couples. It's not always about not trusting your SO its the other person. I trust my boyfriend but it's some of the people he's been with and dated I don't trust.

Don't think so. I was friends with my exes but their girlfriends hated me, so I stopped because I don't need drama. My boyfriend has one of his exes as his friend because she is also my friend. They only dated for like a month and weren't serious. We're great friends and she's not interested in him and he doesn't like her like that anymore. But I would never recommend it if there's still feelings floating there.
