How to tell parents you're pregnant.

I'm 6 weeks pregnant with my ex(we dated for a year but broke up in June). I have told my family, and thankfully they are all so very supportive. My baby's daddy doesn't want to tell his family. He hypothetically mentioned it to his mother and she said, "if you have a baby before you're married or older I will disown you as my child." Sounds harsh, but knowing her I assume she means it. BD lives at home still with his mom and dad and I live on my own. I'm scared if he tells them they will cut him off entirely and kick him out, take his car, phone, etc. We both only have part time jobs right now but are looking to improve. Is there any advice anyone has? How did you tell your parents? Were they supportive? If not what did you do? (I'm 22 and he is 23, both recent college grads with no luck of "big girl/boy" jobs) Should we wait until my 1st trimester is over?   Any advice/thoughts are welcome. Thanks!
