I'll be making the big move to live with my boyfriend in April. He lives in another state and we have reasons for having having to wait till then. He asked me the other day if I'm going to be okay living by myself there when he gets deployed. He's been deployed once and is guaranteed to be deployed again before his term is up. I am literally leaving everything I've ever known behind, moving to a state I've only visited. I'm terrified of him being deployed and be being alone there to handle everything. No family. Any advice on how to prepare myself for this?
