Used preseed for the first time. Confirmed ovulation and BD every day during fertile period. 
In DPO 7, took hpt due to having some strange symptoms and severe dizziness, hpt that day and the next were faint positive. Ended up having to go to the ER for dizziness and nausea that lasted 9+ hours. hpt progressively fainter+ then negative after that. 
AF finally showed on DPO 17 (1-3 days late depending on which fertility app i go by)
Gut is telling me that the faint positives were cuz i conceived but it didn't stick and the horrible dizziness and nausea were when it failed.
Been TTC since Nov 2012, first time anything like this has happened.

Hpts, especially red dye, have rare false positive rates. And they only pick up hcg, which is only created by an embryo's cells that become the placenta. So yes, faint positives and then negatives mean something was there then failed. I had a chemical the cycle before my current pregnancy. My period was heavier and I passed small dime sized clots. We only saw the positive hpts because we're ttc and testing, otherwise we would've chalked up the late period to environmental reasons. Good luck on your next cycle, and I'm sorry it didn't stick this time. Might be lucky next cycle. :-)
