Hi everyone! I had my fourth baby through a elective induction that started 8/3 at 6:30 pm. First they did the iv, started pitocin, then broke my water at 8:30 pm... By 4am on the fourth I couldn't take the pain and got the epidural. I was 6cm.. I had to wait about 30 min to get it.. Slept for a little while and then around 6am felt pain again. Doctor came in at 6:40am, and said I was 10cm and time to deliver. They set up everything and I already had the urge to push. I literally pushed about 3 times, and he was born at 7:00 am. He was 7lbs8oz and 19 inches. He is my first son, and I feel blessed. I have never felt so sore after birth. I am usually fine running around and stuff. Today I feel beat. My back hurts from being stuck in the hospital bed the most. Down there feels sore and like I have abrasions. I feel fine though and was up and in the shower hours after birth. :) we went home the next day.
