Just wondering how many of us June mummies are formula feeding and how many are breastfeeding?

Exclusively breastfeeding. After a very hard attempt, and fail, with my first... I'm proud to say that my son hasn't had one single sip of formula since the moment he was born! 😁

About 80% BF and about 20% formula. My baby gets enough to gain weight but is not satisfied and will scream and scream and scream and unlatch and get angry so we top up with some formula. I have tried EVERYTHING to get my supply up and while it has helped some it just isn't enough. I feel great knowing he is getting everything possible from me ..and then whatever else he needs to be a happy baby.

I'm doing both! I would say 80% breastfeeding and 20% formula. He is thriving and i wouldn't change a thing!

I tried really hard to breast feed my son, he had a tongue tie and wouldn't latch on the first few days and I ended up getting formula so he would have something in his tummy, we made an appointment to fix the tongue tie and before I gave him the bottle I would try to breast feed him, he would latch for a second and then scream, this would go on for 10 min or so, he would get so frustrated it was heartbreaking so I ended up giving him the bottle, I tried for weeks before the appointment and once we got the tongue tie fixed he was too used to the bottle and wouldn't breast feed. :/ I tried to pump as well and my milk supply was so low I couldn't even get enough to give him so we stuck with formula, but I know I did the right thing by bottle feeding my son because I know he wasn't starving. It hurt my so bad at first, I felt like a failure and that I was hurting my son but now I know for sure that I didn't fail because my son is happy and healthy :)

Breastfed for a month had to quit for complications. He's exclusively formula fed now! He was 5 lbs 11 oz and at 2 months 11 lbs! Growing leaps and bounds!

Breastfeeding my son going on two months and one week strong . when he was born he weighed 6 pounds and now he weighs 13 . my fat boy 😁

I tried breast feeding but my little one was not gaining weight even though he was feeding all the time and the latch consultant said he was latched on properly. I wasn't producing enough so I have since started pumping and supplementing with goats milk so he is still getting breast milk. He has definatly gained weight and is growing big and strong!!!

We EBF the first 6 weeks, but I couldn't quite keep up with my little man's appetite, so I started using Earth's Best formula as well as breastfeeding. He's growing big and strong!

I really wanted to breast feed but I have Multiple Sclerosis and my neurologist wanted me to go right back on Meds after giving birth. He's doing really good on formula but I just wish I could have done it for a little while.
