OK what is the difference  between  a faint line and evap- like can you tell by just looking what the difference is?

It is a pink dye test, and I had forgotten to check it before I left :( but when I came home there was a line and it still shows up when you tweak it.

And has some color but is light and does show up very good in pictures :(

I know I've taken enough tests to tell the difference. Mostly. There are always exceptions. It has to do with color, line thickness, time the test has been sitting, line placement. .. but as I said, there are excePtions, like blue dye usually have color but are thin in a lot of cases, but I've also had full thickness evaps on the blue dye, in that case I try to go by how long the test has been sitting. So I guess it's just a matter of experience. For me anyway.  :)

Evap is usually without color and appears after suggested time.
