What to expect after Laparoscopy Surgery

Hey ladies. I have my first laparoscopy in a couple of weeks. I am scared. More scared of what they will find. All my tests (MRI's, ultrasounds, pelvic exams) come back normal, except for fibroids. I have a lot of pain down there on my pubic bone and in my groin area all month long. I have painful periods. I bleed for 2-3 days at max. We have tried numerous rounds of fertility treatments and have been unsuccessful thus far getting pregnant. My lymph nodes swelled up after my last IUI which prompted this surgery. So, as I go in for surgery, do you have any tips for me for recovery or what to expect afterwards? They are doing a lap and a hysteroscopy.
