New to ovulation test

Hi, I stopped the pill in october, started trying immediately, took pill April and may but stopped again in june, had normal periods june and july...thought I'd try the clear blue easy read ovulation test...started testing 5 days after ending my last period due to not knowing when I should ovulate....finally today, cycle day 21, I got my first positive ovulation test, anyone have any advice etc? We had sec this am, before I even took the test...
