My perfect little peanut was born at 4:15 am August 8th, 6lbs 12oz and 20 inches long. To make a long birth story short, he was born at home as planned after about 14 hours of active labor. The unplanned twist to the tale is that he came out while the midwife was getting her supplies, my husband was getting coffee...and there I was sitting on the toilet working through a strong contraction when I felt his head emerging! So I reached down, gave him another push and had my sweet pea in my hands, perfectly pink all over and ready to make his first cries. The midwife was surprised, to say the least, when she came back 20 seconds after leaving my side to see the baby in my hands!! He's perfect & we couldn't be happier ❤️
