How effecting is the "pull out" method?

Has this method ever failed you? Has it til this day worked in your favor? What are your thoughts on it? How long til you got pregnant from  the "pull out" method

I've been wondering the same thing. According to statistics it has a 4% failure rate if used correctly... But there's no definition of 'correctly', by which I mean no time before ejaculation at which he should pull out for it to be effective to that degree. We have been using it for 4 months now as I have been reacting progressively worse to contraceptives and I have endometriosis so we decided that if the withdrawal method failed us we would still be happy despite it not being the right time!
