How long did you wait to have sex after birth?

Doctor says to wait 6 weeks. Anyone out there that didn't wait the whole 6 weeks? Does it hurt all over again? Sorry just curious..feel like a virgin all over again lol

4 weeks. Be sure and use condoms or you'll have babies back to back like me. 😅

They ask you to wait because you can easily get infection and can easily get pregnant again. I was 10 weeks PP  when I had sex again. The first time did hurt

About 2.5 weeks for me. No pain, it felt good and it was great to reconnect with my husband. I guess I was one of the lucky ones after reading posts here! I had minor tearing which had healed by that point.

I waited the 6 weeks like you're advised to. It did feel really tight and different, but not awful. I was just so happy to finally connect with my husband that way again without another little human between us. Very special moment ❤️

I did it with my man after I had my last daughter 3weeks later but I definitely made sure to have him wear a condom cause it's very very easy to get pregnant again right after you have your baby.

4 weeks with first, 6 with second for penetration. I don't tend to bleed for long, so we started with oral. We were cautious as I had very big babies and an episiotomy with the first.

Though I didn't got tear up nor stitches during labor
It was only 5/6 hours of labor

I had sex a day before my six weeks and I bled due to the fact that my son's father was rough and I still had stitches.

Gosh I didn't realize how bad i could have hurt my self I only waited 1 week and it just felt numb

........a week. I was lucky though and left hospital 2 days later not bleeding and feeling great. Not recommended though because of risk of infection and damage i wont do that this time i got lucky than but not worth the risk
