Vow renewal gift etiquette
I thought my first post would not be about this, BUT I have a girlfriend who is renewing her vows with her husband this weekend. They got married at the JP 10 years ago. She was to have a big wedding, but she was in a hurry to have kids (I guess). I've known her since we were 7, and we're not close- but we get together every now and then.
My question is - do I need to give a gift for this vow renewal? I've been reading articles online that say no, so I'm wondering - what would you do?
