Period expected on wedding night.
I'm 22 and a virgin, so is my fiancé. I'm expecting my period to begin a couple days before my wedding... which SUUUUUCKS.
We talked about it and he said "Honestly, I don't care. If you really want to wait (for sex until I'm off, after our wedding night), we can, but I'm fine just going for it." That's what I'm leaning towards; just going for it... But I won't be able to use that lingerie from the pantie party... 😔 haha (He doesn't even get that, he says "It just gets in the way... More to take off." Hahaha)
I asked my mom and she said the same thing happened to her, AND THEY WAITED. She wasn't expecting it. Highest respects to her and my dad, but knowing him... I'm shocked.
I asked my mother in law to-be, and she said if I was regular, I should start the week before. But I've been consistently starting the 7th, 8th, or 9th for about 4 months. My wedding is October 9th.
Would it be super gross if we just went for it? I'm not fond of the idea of going on a birth control, but would that kick in soon enough to skip my period? I'm just looking for opinions. Feel free to share thoughts. :)
