My boyfriend

My BF is going to a very prestigious university with a degree in Chemical Engineering, he is moving away soon, but our sex life has gotten bad.  Every time we have sex he is super paranoid that he did something wrong, even though he puts a condom on perfectly, pulls out, and checks for leaks after.  Also it has never slipped off or burst.  How do I help him get over his nerves?
