Laying on my back?

Is it bad to lay on my back?? It's the most comfortable way to lay but I've been told not to. It hurts to lay on my sides.

You don't need to worry about that yet! I'm 29 weeks also and still sleeping on my back. I'm hardly ever flat on my back. I'm usually a little to the side, but you can only sleep on your sides for so long until you shoulders or hips hurt. Your body will let you know when you need to roll over. Some people have a hard time breathing on their back or they get uncomfortable. If that's not the case then I say go for it. There is no concrete evidence that anything will be wrong with your baby if you lay in your back.

I've read that at 20wk they don't want you to anymore. I'm at 17wk and wake up on my back lol. I'm going to have to invest in a pregnancy pillow

You'll know/feel when to turn away from laying on your back. My stomach starts to ache when I lay for too long, which prompts me to move. 😉

I'm at 33 weeks and I still do I cock my legs and hips so my belly slightly sways off to the the side I have an anterior placenta so I also think that it may be a little different for me but idk that's what works for me and what's comfortable what can ya do...

I'm 29 weeks and still sleep on my back. :) I'll start on my sides but spend most of the night on my back. Honestly, I think if I didn't my back would hurt a lot worse. This is baby #4 and the first time I've been able to stay in my own bed this far along! Our last one, he was so big I could barely walk and I was sleeping in the recliner at 20 weeks because of my back and hips. 
Each body is different. If it concerns you or doc, buy a pregnancy pillow which will help position your body and keep you from rolling over in your sleep.
