I am 2 days away from my due date with my first so I don't have a birth experience to share just yet. I am really looking froward to our planned homebirth and I will post the story as soon as I can but I will say that I have absolutely LOVED having a midwife for my prenatal care! Hope you love your midwife too!

I had a homebirth with my daughter. I absolutely loved it. My son was only 17 months old and I didn't want to leave him. I was one day shy of 42 weeks. My labor was an hour and the birth was 20 mins. It went so fast, so we couldn't set the pool up. It was amazing though. It was so nice to be able to go in my own bed and just the comforts of home. Plus a home cooked meal ;)

I loved my home birth. It was so relaxed. I was in the comforts of my own home and things.  I am planning another one with this baby as well. I had a hospital birth with my first and would never have another unless medically necessary.
