Starteded metformin today to regulate my super long cycles. I'm always wary of taking medicine because of side effects and  Metformin is known to cause major stomach upset. About 4 hrs after I took this stuff, my stomach damn near exploded. I'm really hoping this goes away because I can't  work like this...I work at a school. Luckily, this week there are no students, but when the students are back I'm not going to be able to take run to the bathroom!! This was only 250 mg and I have to build up to a  much higer does over the next few weeks. Has anyone else experienced this and how long until this miserable side effect subsided for you? Ugh. Not sure if I can handle this!?!
