Baby Weight?

I am due to deliver any day now and went in for my last scan today and was so surprised by my size estimate. A week ago they gave me 7lbs 2oz and today they told me 8lbs 10oz!

How accurate are the weight scans at this point? Has anyone seen a big difference in their estimated and actual once they delivered?

Any scans at this point are just estimated guesses. Baby can be up to 2 pounds higher or lower than what they measure. In very few cases will your body grow a baby bigger than it can deliver.

First baby I had an ultrasound the day before I gave birth and they said he was 7lbs 9ounces.. He was 9 lbs 14 ounces. I wouldn't rely on those numbers too much.
