Does anyone else feel like they WANT to make it past their due date?

I am still feeling totally unprepared, and if I make it past my due date I can accrue an extra 1.5 days of vacation pay for my leave (a coincidence with HR policies).

I know a lot of you are itching to evict; I just want to cross my legs!

Lol! I didn't think anyone else felt this way! My husband & I always say, "We can & can't wait for baby to get here!" 😜 We want baby to bake in there as long as possible so he or she (we don't know what we're having) can be as strong & healthy as can be!

We would also like more quality husband & wife time together (he just came home last November from a 9 month deploent), & more time to prepare for baby! We just closed on our first house, but we won't be moving in until next week, & I'm already almost 5 weeks away from my due date! 😁 It's getting closer & closer!

I could handle going 4 days over, then I'd get a full pay check and an extra 4 hrs annual leave lol. That would be the best scenario financially. But really I'm tired and I hope I don't go too far over.

Oh 33.2 weeks and I want to go over. This pregnancy was unplanned so I don't have enough paid leave I need to extra time just so I can afford to take off even then i can only afford six weeks. I still need like everything for my little one. I hope she stays put for a while.

I want to go a week past my due date, for selfish reasons. If I deliver a week late, my 12 week maternity leave will stretch out until after Christmas. If I deliver on my due date, I will have to go back on Christmas Eve, boo! We'll see what baby decides she wants to do!

I kind of want to go a few days over so I can end my maternity leave with Christmas! It would suck to come back the Monday before...but On the other hand I'm also trying for a vbac so the sooner, the smaller, better chances? I'm fine with whenever baby gets here😊

I wouldn't mind going to my due date. We have a wedding this upcoming weekend that I'm in next weekend I'm doing my second sons second birthday. His actual birthday is the 31st. I'm just trying to get past that. I usually go a week early.
