When do you tell?

When do you tell people you're pregnant? I'm 4 weeks today and I told my husband right away and my mom found out on accident. When is the earliest you tell other people? I'm ok with waiting another month or so but I'm so excited I want to tell my friends and other family!!!

Well according to this app I am 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant but I wasn't able to get an appt with my OB until the 17th so I'm probably at least going to wait until after I've seen my doctor. I'm dying to tell everyone! My husband and I are so excited but we just want to make sure that everything looks good and healthy before we do it's really up to you. After 10 weeks you are a lot less likely to have a miscarriage. A lot of people wait until they are 10 weeks. Some people tell everyone as soon as they get a positive test! It all depends on when you and the daddy are comfortable with everyone knowing. This is my first so I'm having a hard time keeping quiet!

a lot of people wait until they reach their second trimester . i did with my first born. this time im super anxious to tell everyone now lol but im holding back

I wanted to wait with this one till after my first ultra sound but I started to show early and people that knew me, well they knew.

My immeadiate family knows but I intend to wait until we are far enough along to know the gender as well. I don't like all the questions and chitter chatter about it - makes me very uncomfortable. But we're also not going to tell anyone the baby name till our baby shower, which won't happen until the week after baby is born. (I dislike attention and chitter chatter - did I mention that?)
