My husband and I were supposed to start TTC in September.  But I found out my supplemental insurance (like AFLAC) will only cover maternity leave if it's MORE THAN 9 months after your policy incepts (which will be Sept. 1).  What are the chances I would get pregnant the very first month and/or the baby would come early??  I'm almost 33.  Should I wait until October to start TTC?  I have been waiting so long to start I am just being totally irrationally annoyed about having to wait another month.  Oh and we have a bunch of money in savings so it's not that we would be in financial trouble without the supplemental coverage, but it would be helpful to have the extra money to replace some of my income.
