Question

Almost 30 weeks. Have complete placenta previa. Had bleeding episode last week that landed me in l&d overnight. Currently on bed rest. Feeling fine and no new bleeding.

Would you travel 3 hours away for a one night stay at the in laws that's been planned for months for a family gathering?

I'd call the doctor, but if she says you should stay in bed rest, I absolutely wouldn't go. Skype into the family gathering to say hi if you want.

My thoughts are as long as I would be comfortable giving birth and staying wherever I'm going for however long it would take for baby to be ready to come home then sure! I'm almost 34 weeks now and my in laws wanted us to come out and stay but I decided it would be better to stay home because my daughter was early and I really wouldn't want to be there for a month if baby boy decided to come early too.
