Do you agree?

I know for me, personally, I knew I had found "the one" when I felt that I wouldn't mind if he impregnated me, and he is the ONLY person I've ever felt comfortable with the idea of having children with, and I don't even like children! (In the past, however, being impregnated by an ex would have been an absolute disaster. They all sucked, haha) My mom always says that if you wouldn't let him father your children, he's not the one for you!

I don't believe in "the one" because it's a depressing as hell idea.

But IF I believed in that bull shit, I'd say my SO is "the one", and no, I most likely wouldn't have his kid. That's not what I want for myself and my life and no man will change that.

I agree. If you can't imagine him being a father to your child then he is not the one. I knew my fiancé was the one in a little less logical way LOL. The first day I met him, I had a vision of him and I walking with a little girl. We didn't start dating until a year after that, but I always knew it would happen.

Same! I never liked children, wanted a child in the future, or would've been a guy impregnating me... Until I met my current SO. He makes me want all of that. He'd be with a loving father and that makes me not scared to be a mother 😊

I believe there is such a thing as "the one". I was married for 13 years, had 4 children with whom I thought was "the one". Unfortunately, he wasn't. He became abusive in every way. I left him and 6 months later, I found "the one". It was an amazing feeling that I had never felt before. Been together ever since. Moved in  5 months after we met, married 3 years later and been together a total of 5 & 1/2 years and I couldn't be happier.

I have to agree.... i know i started having sex and relationships young (14) but i was extremely careful to not get pregnant and before i found hubby i never wanted to marry or have children anyone mostly becsuse my belief is when you have a child with someone you are with that person until that child is 18 or unless they are physically or mentally abusive to you or the child which sadly many people do not believe those old fashion morals of a family unit and sticking together when a child is involved. When i found my hubby and we were dating i had that feeling of being safe and feeling like he was someone i was compatible with sharing my sexual lifestyle with which made me feel like yes i could have a child with this man and not be self conflicted.

Having a child with anyone makes me nervous because my father abandoned me. My husband has a daughter and he fights his ex wife for his custody. Seeing him do that let's me know he would not abandon our child.  He is the only man who had given me that level of security.

Yes I agree. It's one of the questions I ask myself. I ask myself many- haven't found the one yet. I'll keep waiting
