What does it mean when you kept having nightmares then you can't remember your dreams now? When before you could remember them all?

This actually happened to me. I used to be able to remember my dreams vividly. . But, then I started having this reoccurring nightmare.. for about 3 weeks, then I would dream but I couldnt remember anything except it was not a nightmare. The only ones I remember now are nightmares.
It is strange, I am not sure why, but my therapist seems to think that the reason I can not remember my regular dreams is because I feel more comfortable when I sleep and more at peace.. when I have the nightmares it is because I have been suppressing my stress and anxiety.

Do yourself a favor. Or piece of paper in those few very delicate seconds of waking up, you will remember the dream. However after your concert, forget the right down different things i.e. radio. Connor, ambulance, hotel, etc. then later on, you can look at those point forms and piece together
