Longest without seeing a doctor?

What is the longest you've gone without seeing a doctor. I'm switching from my fertility doc to obgyn and there's a 7 week gap between the two! 
The wait is going to drive me crazy! Plus I don't feel comfortable with such a long gap!What should I do?

After getting a pregnancy test done at the doctors at 4 1/2 weeks, I didn't get to see a doctor again until I was almost 13 weeks! I had just started a new job and I had no insurance, so I just had to wait.

You are right.  Unless you are having problems or feel concerned your midwife will see you when it is necessary. If you feel the need to be seen more let them know. I live in the US. My midwife sees me every 4 weeks. I dont see the point all they do is check baby heart rate and send me home.

If everything goes as planned I will not see a doctor at all during this pregnancy. I'm in Sweden and we have midwifes instead of doctors, I will see a doctor if there are complications.

I saw the midwife beginning of July and will see her again end of August. There isn't much they can do right now. I am 12 weeks now.

I go in every 4 weeks to hear the heartbeat and for the dr to check my weight etc. I would look for another doc because I'm the same way...I couldn't wait that long lol

I would say try to find another Doc office. The longest you should go is 4 weeks without seeing a Doc until 26 weeks then you would go ever 2 weeks.

It's hard to answer.  I haven't actually seen the doctor since i was 8 weeks, I'll be 16 when i see one again.  I've had two ultrasounds in that time though, but that's just with techs.
