Using ebt card at whole foods or other organic grocery stores

As my Sister in law and I were taking our carts to the checkout lane at whole foods. We noticed that the mother in front of us had a decent size cart full of food, and when it was time to pay that she used a ebt card.

My sister in law couldn't believe that people use food stamps at places such as whole foods or other natural supermarkets and just went on and on about it once we were in the car.

I on the other hand, honestly didn't see anything wrong with it. Id prefer to see families buying nutritiously dense food rather than cart full of sodas and candy and other junk foods. Plus where they shop for food for their family isn't anyone'l elses business or how they're food is being paid for.

But that had me thinking, what are other peoples opinion on this matter?
