Help! I just got back from my 33 week appointment and my midwife informed me that as of September 1 my hospital will no longer be offering water births (I am due Sept. 28). I have been planning on doing one since about 21 weeks and now have no idea what to do. The other hospital in town offers them but they don't take our insurance and there are no independent birthing centers in town. I am seriously thinking of having a home water birth since we live so close to the hospital but am unsure since this is my first baby.
