Leg pain? - first time worrier

Hi everyone!  I'm newly pregnant with my first and have a million questions/worries!!  Should I be having shooting leg pains in my lower calf?  I'm 6 weeks and I thought leg/foot problems were something that happens when you're much further along. Thank you for any advice!!!

It's normal. Your expanding uterus puts pressure on many nerves that travel down your legs.  In fact, some women have such menstrual bloat that they get the same cramps.

That was me yesterday. I woke up at 3am with bad pain in my left leg. It was just this terrible achy feeling. I had a long flight from France to NYC last week and was scared that blood clots formed. I called my OB and she ordered me a Doppler scan. Everything turned out fine. She said that it's possible the baby was pressing on a nerve.  I took some Tylenol and the pain subsided. I woke up today feeling fine.  Call your OB and tell him or her about your pain. Maybe she can suggest something to relieve the pain or tell you to come in.
