When she gets breasts. please parents, put your daughter in a bra, or tanks under her shirt when they start growing. They are shaped differently at that stage, and kids are MEAN. Do everything you can to build up her confidence when they start. My daughter had little buds at 8. She's 11 and hers are about as big as mine (jerk). But it was rough at first. They hurt, other kids made comments.... Just take really good care of your daughter's feelings at this time, puberty is so hard on girls, physically, emotionally and socially. I had parents who told me nothing, except that they hoped I'd start soon so I'd stop being such a b word all the time. I had to walk to the public library and take out books so I knew what was going on, and how to deal.

You should put your kid in a bra when she needs one for her body, not based on a magic number.

How about never? Let's just stop putting bras on girls and then women in the future will never feel they have to wear them. Because, let's be real. Bras suck.

I didn't vote. I think it all depends on how early she starts developing. I started wearing one at 9 years old because I was already developing. It all depends on the person.

My oldest is 8 and she is wearing training bras now.. Well she either has to wear a bra or a tank top under her shirts because they're starting to be noticeable, especially if she's wearing a clingy type shirt. If she's wearing a loose shirt I don't make a big deal out of it. She's still a little embarrassed about it.

I guess it depends on body type. My niece is 7 and she's a bigger girl and is showing more than most of her age. I honestly think her race is the reason she is built the way that she is. Either way, I don't think she should be in a sexy bra. She needs a training bra. Here's my beautiful niece, Mariah. ❤
