I was test crazy and tested positive at 8 dpo. I'm sure of my dates because I've been tracking for 4 months or so.

Yes way too early... It hasn't had time to implant and produce enough hcg... Hcg doubles every 48-72 hours... It implants around 7-12 dpo depending on the person... Then it takes almost another week for the hcg to be high enough to detect it in urine... It can detect it on blood earlier, but takes a couple of extra days for urine...
