Decreasing hormone levels
I started bleeding on Thursday night and contacted my dr. they told me to monitor how much I was bleeding and to try not to worry. The next morning I was still bleeding so I went to the ER. They told me that the baby was fine, I was 5 weeks (which was 2 weeks earlier then I thought and would mean I found out I was pregnant at 13 days) and that I had a subcorionic hemerage. They also said I had signs of a ectopic pregnancy and they weren't sure but there could be a twin in my Fallopian tube, and to schedule an appointment with my OB to talk about more. I went to my OB Monday who did another blood test, and she explained that if my hormone levels drop, that would signify a miscarriage. The next day I had nausea and heartburn so I was positive that the results were good. Turns out my hormone levels dropped. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Friday to see if my body did what it needed to. I know I should t do this but part of my is holding on to what the ER said about a twin in my Fallopian tube and my body miscarried that baby but I still have my other baby. Especially since I found out so early. Could this cause my hormone levels to drop? Or am I setting myself up for more heartbreak?
