Do I count the day after a + OPK as Ovulation?

Question

I am concerned because I will be seeing my OB on the 19th about some hormonal issues. We are still ttc and I had a bold positive OPK on the 7th but didn't know exactly how many DPO I would be by then. I am doubtful he would be able to test for pregnancy that early.

I always tracked the day of the +OPK as ovulation. So I guess if you saw it the 7th, you'd be 12DPO & it's possible to be detected that early.

I always got it 1-2 days in a row because I was addicted to peeing on a stick. Haha I counted the first + as my ovulation day & kept BDing until it was negative again.
